He Lost His Way… -1978 original Israel pressing on Hed-Arzi BAN-1471-
This is a beautiful folk-rock and perhaps the best from Israel with some nice fuzzy guitar at times.
All sung in Hebrew. Insert included. Lovely condition:

Seven secrets- Original UK pressing on Dawn
including the elusive Insert. This is great acid-folk prog with nice
use of
organ and Oboe(!), cool vocals that sound a bit like andy latimer of
Camel, and
an interesting mix of pastoral folk-prog. DAWN DNLS 3058 from 1974.
Textured
cover is in nice condition apart from a tiny piece of the top right
corner
thorn away, so VG++. Insert is Mint and vinyl is clean EX+ with very
few ultra
light hairlines. Overall a very nice original! 75.-

AND STARR-
Sidewalks Talking-
Chicago based duo Chuck Hollins and David Starr only made this one
album, a
treasure trove of strong melodies and dreamy vocal harmonies. Gorgeous,
ethereal blend of psychedelic folk and offbeat pop supported by an odd
assortment of instruments including flute, bells and fuzz guitar. This
is a
QUADROPHONIC original pressing on Ovation- OV 14-07 from 1971- As seen
in
Pokora vol 4001 page 83 with 1 star + masterpiece symbol; Cover is EX-
with
some marks on the edges, Vinyl is very clean with 1 inaudible small
scratch on
the beginning of side 1, so downgraded to VG++ . Overall a very nice
condition
of a great and rare little gemm! 100.-

Herriak
ez du barkatuko- ORIGINAL French pressing on “Le chant du
Monde” LDX 74597 from
1976. with
Laminated Triple G/F Sleeve, This is a SUPERB Basque Folk Rock
with some Prog/ Acid/Folk touches,
deep vocalist and electric violin, sometimes complex & dramatic
tunes. Rarely
seen! Nice EX+/EX+ condition; RESERVED 
KORMORAN-
Folk & Roll- A
suprisingly fresh Hungarian Folk-rock album with some balkan
influences, lots
of instruments, virtuoso solos and always a tight sound with
well-crafted songs taking
Folk music as a
base and turning it into a spacey Progressive sound with heavy Guitar.
You get
Gypsy Violin, Zither, Bagpipes and Flute layered with Space drum,
scorching
Guitar and Bass.
Original pressing. Though it’s from 1984, this is
excellent all the way and comes highly recommended! Kormoran went on to
record
several other LP’s but this one is the best, a true
masterpiece and rarely seen
on the market! Cover and vinyl EX+; 50.-

1st pressing on UK Reality RY 1002 - Stamped Matrix side A: R I M 2 A +

1. A mega rarity
that is never ever offered for sale, and to top it all this personal
copy
belonged to Dave Swrarbrick, is signed on the backcover by him (small
letters
in top left) and comes with a C.O.A signed by Dave himself. Not only is
this a
piece of history in itself but also a legendary and truly underated
Folk
masterpiece by this Australian musician who integrated Fairport
Convention (and
formed Fotheringay with his wife Sandy Denny!). The condition is not
too good
visually: I will grade the cover VG+ and the vinyl just VG. However
there are
only very few clicks or pops (mostly between tracks) and being a folk
album
with quiet not too loud songs, this is a minor miracle, because despite
of this
visual poor condition of the vinyl, it still plays quite well and is
definitely
a keeper copy. Featured in Pokora
vol
2001 page 122 with 5 stars. Sorry about the high price but this is a
totally
unique item! 850.-

CARTA- Seasons- Rare Original UK pressing of
one of the best melodic English LP’s ever
recorded.
Original gatefold cover and Vertigo Spiral Label from 1970. Cover has
1 large sticker tear on top left corner,
grades VG+. Vinyl with several
superficial hairlines, none too deep, plays quite well,
conservatively graded
at VG+ as well. 45.-

Kozelitesek- Rare
and wonderful record from this Hungarian band that released earlier
recordings
with Kolinda in France (3 LPs at Hexagone label). Very nice
chamber-progressive-folk with a myriad of instruments ranging from oboe, guitar, marimba, table,
gadulka, double
bass, sarangi, kaval, assorted percussion, and sarod (sarod played by
7th
player Steven James, who studied with Ravi Shankar).Original Hungaroton
label,
SLPX 18146. Cover is VG++ with some edge wear. Vinyl is EX &
plays
lovely!

Russian band that utilizes a background of Slavic Folk with ocasional
prog
touches, fuzz guitar, violin, flutes, hammond and strange choirs.
Interesting

PROFAN-
Pro Patria- This is
one of a 1000 limited edition private pressing and sole
recording from
this band. The band includes members of the
legendary 70's folk-rock
band called "Gépfolklór (Folkmachine)", released
only one rare and
collectible EP. Same style as Barbaro,
but
not yet included in the Pokora books. Absolutely top-notch musicianship
and one
of the best LP’s i’ve heard from Hungary! 50.- 
PHOENIX-
Mugur de fluier- A
second pressing (made in Romania) in single cover and black
electrerecord label
ST- EDE 0968, hard progressive acid folk with deep dark vocals. Inspired by
historical tales about ancient living heroes of Romanian people. This
five
songs "Lasa, lasa" are witty couplets. The song "Mica
Tiganiada" is about old lifestyle of gipsy people. "Mugur de
fluier" is ispired by Jethro Tull's "A Christmas Song", but the
lyrics are very beautiful. Definitely has its place in the top of prog
folk
history.. EX/EX; 35.-
